This is my "Work in Progress" for Lady Winter - First Snow [link] ... I thought I would try something different and submit it as a Flash "movie" so I could add some music. (Obviously you need a Flash player to view
It is quite large so it may take a while to load! I am not sure if I like this format or not (no reflection on the wonderful music) ... opinions and feedback would be very welcome. Also, please let me know if the music is too loud! A huge THANK YOU to Buze Julien [link] for his the use of music piece "Outro" from A New Begin. Usage is through Creative Commons and you can find the permission description here [link] Also a big thank you to the amazingly talented Marcus Ranum (*mjranum) for the stock image which I used to created Lady Winter (although she is almost completely redrawn it would have been impossible without the original image as inspiration!) Kithos [link] in White 3 [link] Once again Marcus your work and your models are astonishing and lovely! The Landscape and Sleeping Statue are both from Photo's I took in Scotland. I've tried to depict that time ... just when you know that it is going to snow ... the sky is clouding over and smoothing out, there is a sense of stillness and the air has a scent of snow ... the only thing you will sometimes hear are the crows calling to each other to warn of the coming weather. This one has a poem to go with it which you can find here [link] |
